Q for Kids Radiothon set for Nov. 19-20

The 17th Annual Q for Kids Radiothon benefiting WVU Medicine Children’s will hit the airwaves live on Thursday, Nov. 19.

WVU Medicine Children’s, Children’s Miracle Network, WVAQ (101.9 FM) and WQZK (94.1 FM) will host the radiothon in the cafeteria of WVU Medicine's Ruby Memorial Hospital and will be broadcasting live from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 19 and 20. Toothman Ford and WVU Medicine Potomac Valley Hospital are sponsoring the WVAQ and WQZK broadcasts, respectively.

Radio personalities will tell stories about children who have benefited from services provided by WVU Medicine Children’s. Patients are also scheduled to visit the radiothon to share their stories on air. To date, the radiothon has raised $­­1.5 million in support of WVU Medicine Children’s.
