rapid! PayCard® will be available to employees starting July 1

The rapid! PayCard®, a financial resource that is accepted wherever Mastercard and Visa debit cards are accepted, will be available to all WVU Medicine employees starting July 1, through Payroll.

The card is ideal for employees who do not have a traditional bank account or employees that receive a standard paper pay check. Pay can now be automatically deposited to the paycard and is accessible the morning of every payday.

Cardholders will also be able to pay bills over the phone or through a web portal and will have access to an interest-bearing savings account or “purse,” which lets them earn interest similar to that of other bank savings accounts.

Call rapid! PayCard Customer Support at 1-877-380-0980 to order a card or stop by the Payroll office in Room 4A20, fourth floor, J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. There is no cost to enroll and no credit check required.
