WVU Stroke Conference scheduled for Nov. 20
The WVU Stroke Conference will take place from 7:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, at the Bridgeport Conference Center. The conference is presented by the WVU Medicine Stroke Center and the WVU Health Sciences Office of Continuing Education.
The event will feature a variety of lectures on adult and pediatric stroke, including acute stroke intervention, management of acute stroke patients, stroke rehabilitation, research and more. The West Virginia Office of Emergency Services will share its plan for the advancement of stroke care access across the state.
This conference is designed for physicians, mid-level providers, nurses, pharmacists, emergency medical personnel, rehabilitation specialist and researchers with an interest in stroke care.
