Reminder: Promotion and/or tenure protocol for West Virginia University

All decisions regarding promotion and tenure for West Virginia University are made by the provost's office. The provost will notify by personal letter every candidate who has applied for promotion and/or tenure on May 15, 2017.

Following this letter, the Provost will officially notify the WVU Board of Governors.  Once the Board of Governors is notified, public announcement of the results can occur. There are no promotions until the Provost makes the final decision.
