Robert Duval, PhD Appointed Interim Chair of HPML
Welcome Dr. Duval!
The SPH is pleased to announce appointment of Robert Duval, Ph.D. as the Interim Chair of Health Policy, Management and Leadership. Dr. Duval is an accomplished researcher, educator, and administrator. He is a long-standing member of the WVU faculty, currently serving as Associate Professor within the Department of Political Science at the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences. Among his previous positions, he has served as the Acting Director of the WVU Institute for Public Affairs, Associate Director of the WVU Center for Intelligence and National Security Analysis, and Director of the graduate program in the Department of Political Science. His research interests are quantitative in nature, and he teaches the advanced graduate research methods courses to Public Policy and Political Science PhD students. He has been, and continues to be, a participant on the dissertation committees of Public Health PhD students.
