Several unit moves occur in the hospital

On Monday, July 10, at 8 a.m., the Cardiac and Vascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) will move to 3 Southeast. The phone numbers will be 74311 and 74317.

At the same time, the Observation Unit will move from 3 Southeast to 5 West (currently CTU/CCU). The phone will be 71383.

Also, the Heart and Vascular Institute Reference Unit will be moving from 3 Southeast to 9 Southeast, Pod A. The phone numbers for the unit will be 71384 (internal) and 304-285-1903 (external). The phone numbers for 9 Southeast will remain at 70961 (internal) and 304-285-1909 (external).

Once the moves are completed, all of the cardiac inpatient units will be in the Heart and Vascular Institute Southeast Tower.

Along with the inpatient units moving, the new, state-of-the-art operating rooms and cath labs will be opening on July 10.
