Spok Mobile to be unavailable during upgrade

In order for the WVU Medicine IT team to perform a system upgrade, the Spok Mobile application will be unavailable from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16.

During that time, users will not be able to receive or send messages via Spok Mobile. After the upgrade is complete, one of the new features will be the option to change availability status from the Spok Mobile application. The WVU Medicine IT team will provide instructions on how to change status.

After the Spok Mobile upgrade, users will be required to open the application and sign in to receive new messages. Continue with the existing user name and password. Upon opening the application for the first time after the upgrade, the app will present the sign-in page, with user name and password prepopulated. Click "Sign In."
