St. Joseph's Hospital welcomes general surgeon to the Physicians of St. Joseph's

BUCKHANNON, W.Va. -- St. Joseph’s Hospital is pleased to welcome Steve Riddick, M.D., to the staff of The Physicians of St. Joseph’s. Dr. Riddick is a general surgeon and will be seeing patients in Buckhannon.

“We are very pleased to welcome Dr. Riddick to our physicians’ group here at St. Joseph’s Hospital,” Skip Gjolberg, St. Joseph’s Hospital administrator, said. “Dr. Riddick will be an excellent addition to our physicians’ group.”

Riddick is a graduate of Brown University in Rhode Island. He was a resident at the Naval Hospital in Oakland, California, and performed a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at George Washington University. He was a commander in the United States Naval Reserves and served as a general surgeon on the USS Abraham Lincoln and the USS Carl Vinson.

Riddick’s practice includes upper and lower endoscopy, treatment of colon and breast cancer, and gallbladder and hernia surgery. Appointments can be made by calling 304-473-2303.
