Stroupe to serve on American Nurses Credentialing Center commission

Lya Stroupe, the manager for nursing research and professional development at WVU Medicine-WVU Hospitals, has been appointed to a serve on the Commission on Accreditation for the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). The commission decides the accreditation status of nurse residency programs.

Stroupe is the first person in West Virginia to be named to the comission, a national position, and the first from WVU Medicine. Her term begins Jan. 1, 2018, and ends Dec. 31, 2021.
