MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - The Wellness Center at Berkeley Medical Center will be offering “Self-Care for Stress Management” with Elizabeth Mauck, yoga instructor from 2-3:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 31 in the Aerobics Room. 

"The purpose of the workshop is to present practical information to help you learn to cope with stress to have a positive impact on your health and well-being,” Dana DeJarnett, health promotion specialist for The Wellness Center and WVU Medicine, said.  

Mauck added, “My intention is to offer some powerful self-care tools, such as energizing yoga postures, breathing exercises, and guided relaxation that bring balance to mind and body.” 

During the workshop, participants will learn how to calm anxiety, elevate a depressed mood, and how to cope with and prevent burnout from stress.
