Tickets available for 2016 WVU Medicine Children’s Grand Bash

Tickets are available for the third annual West Virginia Grand Bash, which will be held from 1-7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, at the Ruby Community Center at Mylan Park in Morgantown. Proceeds from the event will benefit WVU Medicine Children’s at Ruby Memorial.

More than 50 prize drawings will be held during the event. Prizes include a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon, two Harley Davidson motorcycles, a vacation for two to Maui, an antique diamond ring, a Yamaha Waverunner FX Cruiser HO and $10,000 cash among many others.

One ticket holder will walk away with the grand prize of $100,000 cash or the 2016 Thor Motor Coach Chateau 29-G.

Tickets are $100 each. Only one ticket holder is permitted per ticket as only one person can claim a prize. Only 10,000 tickets are available. Each ticket holder is allowed to bring one guest per ticket held. Guest admission is $20 and is to be paid in cash at the gate upon entry.

Live music will be provided all day courtesy of Schmitt’s Saloon, and the Boston Beanery will provide refreshments.

Doors open at 11 a.m. The drawings start at 1 p.m. leading up to the grand prize drawing at 7 p.m. Tickets will be drawn every five minutes with the exception of 4 to 5 p.m., when a WVU Medicine Children’s presentation will take place. All drawings will be selected on site. Ticket holders need not be present to win.

The Grand Bash has raised more than $300,000 for WVU Medicine Children’s in its first two years. More than 4,000 people attended last year’s event.
