Training and Organizational Development is accepting registration for two courses that will be held Thursday, March 8.

"Public Speaking and Presentation Skills" will be offered from 8-11 a.m. at the CEOD Training Room 1 at the WVU Medicine Operations Support Center.

This course will help participants learn to connect to an audience and deliver information in a more interesting way. It will also help them learn how to control nervousness and anxiety, and speak with enthusiasm and confidence.

"Handling Difficult Customers" is from 12-3 p.m. at the CEOD Training Room 1 at the WVU Medicine Operations Support Center.

This course focuses on ways to ensure customer satisfaction with difficult or dissatisfied customers. Emphasis is on identifying different types of difficult customers and exploring unique communication strategies for professionally addressing each type.
