UHA acquires western Maryland-based physician group

University Health Associates (UHA) has acquired the Garrett Medical Group, which has offices in Oakland, Md., Friendsville, Md., and McHenry, Md.

The group, which was founded in 1973, is led by Robert Goralski, MD, and Thomas G. Johnson, MD. For details about the physicians and a list of providers, click here. The group will be housed within the WVU Medicine Department of Community Practice.

The offices in Oakland and Friendsville offices offer primary care services, and the office in McHenry offers primary and urgent care.

For WVU Medicine employees seeking care at these offices, the group will now fall within the WVU Medicine Enhanced Network insurance category.
