WVU Medicine United Way goal is $200,000

"My United Way" that’s the theme of this year’s United Way of Monongalia and Preston Counties’ community campaign.

This year’s United Way campaign goal is $1,525,000. Dollars raised will provide support for 54 programs at 29 local health and human service agencies that focus on the building blocks for a better life for all: health, education, and financial stability.

Over the years, WVU Medicine and its employees have contributed more than $1.6 million to the United Way of Monongalia and Preston counties. This year's campaign goal is $200,000.

Contributions will help ensure that the United Way continues to have the resources it needs to make a difference in the lives of those in our community. The easiest way to make a donation is through the online ePledge system.

Employees also have the option of completing a WVU Medicine United Way pledge card. It can be turned into a department coordinator, dropped into the lock box in the Nursing Resource office located on the fourth floor of J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, or sent to Becky Wright through campus mail.
