Ultrasound move, MRI installation kicks off POC construction

On March 14, the Ultrasound Clinic moved from the fourth floor of the Physician Office Center to the first floor. It will remain in that space permanently.

There is a centralized check-in desk and a shared waiting room for the Ultrasound Clinic and Laboratory Services. The hours remain the same for both services:

Ultrasound Clinic: 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday through Friday

Laboratory Services: 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday; 8 a.m.-12 p.m., Saturday

On March 12, installation of a new MRI in the POC began. Installation is expected to be completed by early this week, without a disruption of services.

The POC renovation project started March 14. Efforts to minimize the overall construction impact (e.g., noise, trash) are being taken.

Below is the fourth floor POC floorplan. The solid dark green area is the Ultrasound Clinic, which moved to the POC first floor.

The green dividing line separates phase 1 (east side) and phase 2 (west side). The construction timeline for completion of the entire fourth floor remains at the end of 2016.
