Use of ScImage PACS to begin Aug. 15 in adult echocardiography

WVU Medicine has partnered with ScImage and will use its PICOM365 Enterprise picture archiving and communication system (PACS) throughout the West Virginia University Health System, starting Tuesday, Aug. 15. Adult echocardiography, a section of cardiology, will be the first group to use the system.

PICOM365 is a high-security, cloud-based system that will provide cardiovascular image management, viewing, and reporting capabilities for seamless workflow throughout the health system.
