Vote for WVUH, Local 814 Collective Bargaining Agreement extension set for April 13

Representatives from WVUH and Local 814 have been meeting to negotiate an extension of the current Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) that is set to expire on Dec. 31, 2016. The negotiations have resulted in a proposal to extend the current CBA through Dec. 31, 2017. 

Members of Local 814 will have the opportunity to vote on the offer to extend the CBA for one year with a wage increase in 2017.

Local 814 representatives will be available on Tuesday, April 12, from 6 a.m.–6 p.m. in Conference Room 3A/3B, located on the fourth floor of Ruby Memorial, to answer questions from their membership on the extension and wage proposal. And the vote will occur on Wednesday, April 13, from 6 a.m.–6 p.m. in the same location. 

Local 814 representatives will visit United Linen Services on Tuesday, April 12, and Wednesday, April 13, from 1–3 p.m. and 3–5 p.m. to answer questions. Employees at this location can cast their vote at this time.
