'Wear Blue Day' Photo Shoot
Event Date: 03/03/2017
Event Location: Atrium, Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center
The WVU Cancer Institute invites employees to participate in a "Wear Blue Day" photo shoot on Friday, March 3, at 2 p.m. in the atrium at the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center.
All are welcome! Just wear blue – and encourage your friends and colleagues to do the same.
The photo will be used to promote Colon Cancer Awareness Month, which is recognized in March.
Colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in West Virginia. While colon cancer is a significant problem, it does not have to be. If men and women aged 50 and older are regularly tested for colorectal cancer, at least 60 percent of deaths from this disease could be avoided.
