West Preston Middle School makes donation to Bonnie’s Bus

Students at West Preston Middle School in Masontown, WV, are helping the WVU Cancer Institute’s mobile digital mammography unit (Bonnie’s Bus) stay on the road.  During three Wednesdays in October, the students were allowed to wear wacky cloths and hats in exchange for making a donation to Bonnie’s Bus.  They raised $350 for the Bus. Additionally, they declared every Friday, Pink Out Friday and wore as much pink as possible on those days.  “Through this fundraiser, our students are learning to be participants in society by helping others,” West Preston Middle School Principal Lee Livengood said.  “We couldn’t ask for a better bunch of kids.”

This is the second consecutive year that West Preston Middle School students have made a donation to Bonnie’s Bus.
