WVCTSI offers educational opportunity - NIH's Introduction to the Principles and Practice of Clinical Research course

The West Virginia Clinical and Translational Science Institute is pleased to announce that the NIH has approved WVCTSI to be a remote site for the course Introduction to the Principles and Practice of Clinical Research, offered by the NIH Clinical Center.

This course will be facilitated live at the NIH, but will be available to WVCTSI members in a flexible and entirely web-based format. A Certificate of Completion from the NIH will be provided to those who register and complete the course by passing an open-book exam in mid-March. We encourage all who register to take the open-book exam at the end of the course.

Registration for the free course must be completed by the end of the day on Tuesday, October 13, 2015. See below for registration information.  We highly encourage all who register to take the open-book exam at the end of the course to earn the Certificate of Completion.

The course syllabus is attached. Please disregard times and locations listed on the syllabus because, as stated above, WVCTSI participants will participate by accessing the online archive.

Participants should also be registered WVCTSI members.  If you are not currently a member and would like to participate, please sign up here: http://www.wvctsi.org/pages/membership.
