WVU Healthcare Leadership Scholarship winners announced
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Three local high school graduates are the recipients of the 2013 WVU Healthcare Leadership Scholarship. Each award winner earned a one-time $1,000 scholarship for use at any college or university. This annual program is open to children of current, non-faculty employees at WVU Healthcare’s Ruby Memorial Hospital, Physician Office Center and various outpatient clinics.

- Andrew Edwards, son of WVU Children’s Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit nurse Mary Edwards, graduated from East Fairmont High School and plans to attend Fairmont State University, studying national security and intelligence and political science.
- Preston High School graduate Christopher May is the son of Medical Center Pharmacy business manager Barbra May. He plans to study music and mathematics education at WVU.
- Elizabeth Sabatino graduated from Morgantown High School. The daughter of WVU Heart Institute business analyst Holly Sabatino, she has been accepted to WVU, where she will study accounting in the College of Business and Economics.
