WVU Medicine flu campaign kicks off this week

WVU Medicine's flu campaign is happening this week. Flu shots will be offered during the kick-off event from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 2, in Ruby Memorial Hospital conference rooms 3A/3B.

This year, all staff, providers, residents and volunteers across the enterprise are required to receive the influenza vaccination unless they have an approved medical or religious exemption.

After the kick-off events, employees should go to Employee Health to receive the flu vaccination. Hours are 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Employees should have received an email from ReadySet notifying them that their flu surveys are available. The survey must be completed before receiving the flu shot. For more information, go to the Employee Health Flu Campaign page.
