WVU Medicine to partner with Bright Horizons to manage Child Development Center

Bright Horizons Family Solutions, which operates 720 centers across the U.S., including the WVU Child Learning Center, will provide the day-to-day operational management of the WVU Medicine-WVU Hospitals Child Development Center (CDC), effective Sept. 18.

“Bright Horizons’ excellent reputation for managing employer-sponsored child care centers, along with the company’s specific experience with child care centers in the healthcare industry, made it an attractive partner,” Leeann Cerimele, WVU Medicine chief human resources officer, said.

“We believe that Bright Horizons will be able to offer the CDC employees the support and resources needed in this specialty industry, while they continue to provide exceptional care to our employees' children," she continued. "Our number one priority will always be the children and their education, care, and safety.

To help with the transition, the leadership team met with staff and parents last week.
