WVU Medicine United Way Campaign exceeds goal

Thanks to you, WVU Medicine has exceeded its $180,000 United Way Campaign goal and raised $193,808 to help local health and human-service agencies. Over the years, WVU Medicine and its employees have contributed more than $1 million to the United Way of Monongalia and Preston counties.

Prize winners from the recent tailgate-themed campaign wrap-up party have been announced, and there are still chances for employees to help the cause and win great prizes.

Chances to win tickets to the Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Columbus Blue Jackets game on Monday, Dec. 21, at 7 p.m. at CONSOL Energy Center, Pittsburgh, Pa., will be sold outside of the Ruby Cafeteria Thursday and Friday, Dec. 10-11, from 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Two winners will receive two tickets each (section 118, row Q, seats 7-8 and 9-10) to the game. Chances are $3 for one or $5 for two. The winners will be chosen on Monday, Dec. 14. All ticket sales will benefit the United Way of Monongalia and Preston Counties.

Employees can also be entered into the final prize drawing by contributing before WVU Medicine's campaign officially ends on Wednesday, Dec. 16. To make a donation, or learn more about the United Way or campaign incentive prizes, visit the WVU Medicine United Way Campaign website.
