WVU Medicine United Way campaign kicks off

WVU Medicine’s 2016 United Way Campaign begins today, Sept. 8, with a pledge blitz.

Employees who make a pledge any time from now until Monday, Sept. 14, will be eligible to win eight hours of PDO. Pledges can be made from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Ruby Cafeteria on weekdays, or by using the online ePledge system.

Employees can also fill out a paper pledge form and turn it into their department coordinator, drop it into the lockbox located inside the Nursing Resource office on the 4th floor of Ruby, or send it to Becky Wright through campus mail.

The United Way of Monongalia and Preston counties and its 27 health and human service agencies give our neighbors and co-workers a place to turn – and hope for a brighter tomorrow. These agencies affect people of all ages, from all walks of life.

Over the years, WVU Medicine and its employees have contributed more than $1 million dollars to the effort. This year's campaign goal is $180,000. The WVU Medicine campaign chair is Tony Condia, vice president of Marketing and Communications.

To ensure that the United Way continues to have the resources it needs to make a difference in the lives of those in our community, consider making a donation through the online ePledge system. If you are having password issues on the ePledge login page, click the "Forget Password" button to reset.

Questions? Contact campaign chair Tony Condia; co-chairs Sara Fazenbaker, Jamie Kiseli and Patrick Murphy; or your department coordinator.
