WVU Medicine United Way campaign tailgate party set for Nov. 13

The WVU Medicine United Way Campaign is closing in on its goal of raising $180,000. To celebrate, a WVU tailgate-themed event will take place from 1-3 a.m. and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, in conference rooms 3A/3B on the fourth floor of Ruby.

All employees are invited to stop by to enjoy the festivities and learn more about how contributions to the United Way of Monongalia and Preston Counties help people in need in our community.

Employees can take a photo with the WVU Mountaineer mascot from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., participate in the basket raffle for a chance to win great prizes, and sign up on the WVU Medicine United Way ePledge system to donate to the campaign.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase. A hotdog, chips, and drink combo will be sold for $5. Purchase additional hotdogs for $1 each.

Stop by the tailgate wearing your WVU gear and learn how your donations are being put to use in 27 local community agencies.
