WVU Medicine University Healthcare recognizes employee service

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. – WVU Medicine University Healthcare recently recognized 172 employees for their years of service to Berkeley Medical Center or Jefferson Medical Center at a celebration dinner at the Holiday Inn in Martinsburg.

President and CEO Anthony P. Zelenka thanked the employees for their dedication and service to both hospitals over the years. Years of service ranged from five years to 40 years. He acknowledged that the employee honorees represented 2,395 total years of service to University Healthcare.

As part of the evening’s program, the 2015 Quality Service Award winners were also announced. Connie Hicks, ECHO, was selected out of the monthly QSA honorees at Berkeley Medical Center. Michael Godwin, security, and Teresa Taylor, patient access, were named co-winners out of the quarterly QSA honorees at Jefferson Medical Center.
