Zeilinger retires after 45 years with WVU Medicine

Kathy Zeilinger, a certified critical cardiac care nurse, retired from WVU Medicine on Friday, March 31, after 45 years of service.

A reception was held at 3 p.m. in the CCU break room, located on the fifth floor of J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital.

Zeilinger began as a nurse in the CCU in the old hospital (now HSC).

According to a colleague, she plans on spending time with her sister and traveling. She also loves arts and crafts and will devote some time to those pursuits.

Colleagues gathered last Friday (March 31) to wish Kathy Zeilinger well in her retirement.
