WVU researcher presents at international conference

Held in conjunction with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers International Conference on Bioinformatics and Biomedicine, the “Long Non-Coding RNAs: Mechanism, Function and Computational Analysis” workshop included a presentation by West Virginia University School of Medicine and WVU Cancer Institute Associate Professor Ivan Martinez, PhD. Martinez’s presentation was titled “Y Chromosome LncRNAs & Radiation Sensitivity in Lung Cancer: Don’t Lose Your Maleness.” In addition to presenting during the workshop, which took place December 9-12, 2021, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Martinez served as co-chair of the event alongside WVU Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources Professor Don Adjeroh, PhD, University of Texas Health Systems Professor Xiaobo Zhou, PhD, and Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences Professor Leonard Lipovich, PhD.
