Cell Biology Training Program

A Cell Biology Training Program is currently being developed at the West Virginia University Health Sciences Center.

The program is interdisciplinary and draws upon faculty and students from the different graduate programs in the Health Science Center whose primary research interests are in the area of cell biology.

The primary objectives of this training program are:

1) Provide a highly interactive research environment for faculty and students with a focus on cell biology

2) Provide training in state-of-the-art approaches to problems in cell biology

By meeting these objectives, this program will become an important component of the program of study for pre-doctoral PhD and MD/PhD students planning on a career studying biological processes at the cellular level.
