Condom Accessibility Increasing

Condoms are available on a walk-in basis between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday at Student Health Service (SHS) through the Health Promotion Program (G281-A, ground floor, Health Sciences Center). There are over 30 varieties of latex condoms at 20 cents apiece. Polyurethane and female condoms are available for people who are latex-sensitive. Lubrication and other safer sex items are also available for discounted cost. Most condoms are available for half price (10 cents) on Thursdays. Click here for a list of available products.

The SHS Student Health Promotion Program understands the importance of privacy for WVU students and will take advance orders by phone or email. Students can call 293-6584 or email nbyrd@hsc.wvu.edu.

During the semester, thHealth Promotion Program and the Student Health Advisory Board (SHAB) will sponsor Condom Caravans at various locations around campus. Most condoms and safer sex items will be offered at half price. Times and dates will be announced as they are scheduled. Please check Mix and The Daily Athenaeum to see where and when the next Condom Caravan will take place.
