Alcohol and Drugs Prevention and Education
Consequences of a First Offense DUI in WV
  • 21 and over you will get a DUI if your BAC is .08 or higher
  • Under 21 you will get a DUI if your BAC is between .02 and .07 > lose your license for 60 days. > .08 and higher you will lose your license for 6 months
  • 24 hours in the Regional Jail (Dodridge County)
  • Fine - $250.00 - $500.00
  • License suspended for 6 months
  • Valley Health Care enrollment evaluation fee for DUI program which includes an assessment, 18 hours of Drug and Alcohol education (6 three hour sessions), and one follow-up session. ($250.00)
  • Intake evaluation is $180.00
  • Group therapy is $51.00 per session
  • Individual/family therapy is $80.00 per session
  • You are expected to remain drug and alcohol free during the program at Valley Health Care. You are required to submit to random breath and urine tests. The urine test is $15.00. A positive reading will require that you repeat the entire program including a re-assessment and more intensified treatment.
  • Insurance rates will triple
