WVU School of Dentistry Oral Health Forum
In March of 2009, WVU Interim President C. Peter Magrath, along with the Benedum
Foundation co-sponsored an Oral Health Forum at the Blaney House. The purpose of
the Forum was to promote and advance oral health in West Virginia as well as showcase
the WVU School of Dentistry's role as part of a Land Grant Institution in improving
lives in West Virginia and beyond. Over 60 people attended the forum. Ideas were
shared and follow up action plans were developed and are in the process of being
implemented with the goal of improving health in West Virginia.
