Hello, my name is David E. Harman and I graduated from West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 1987 and did a post-graduate study at CAMC in 1998. I have a Master Degree in Higher Education.

My office is located at 14 South Main Street, PO Box 279, Petersburg, WV 26847 and my phone number is (304) 257-4770. The office is located in downtown Petersburg and on the second floor of an old family building. My father practiced here for 45 years and I remodeled and moved in 1998.

There are 3 operatories. We have 2 Pelton and Crane Spirit units and 1 new room outfitted with a Belmont unit. Our intraoral x-ray unit and our panorex unit are both by Gendex and are brand new. We also have a new AT 2000 x-ray developer. We are currently in a room by room remodeling mode.

There are 2 assistants and a hygienist. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate left-hand students at this time. We are open Monday thru Friday from 9:00AM-5:00 PM.

Petersburg is a rural community of about 2,000. There are all denominations of churches, excellent schools and there is a nice, 18 hole golf course 15 minutes away. Hunting and fishing are close by and we are 2-3 hours from the Baltimore/DC area.

My personal philosophy is to run a low volume, high quality practice. I consider myself slow and meticulous. We treat patients of all ages.

To reach the office from Morgantown, take I68 East. Take the Friendsville exit-Deep Creek Lake, Oakland, MD or Deer Park Road. Go to Lock Lynn, to Mt Storm to Scheer and to Petersburg. The distance is about 100 miles and should take about 2 hours driving time.
