David Miranda, DDS

Gary, WV

Hello, I am Dr. Gerald Dice and I graduated from Ohio State University School of Dentistry in 1973. Dr. David Miranda graduated from West Virginia University School of Dentistry AEGD program in 1992.

The office address is Tug River Health Association Primary Care Facility, RT 103, PO Box 507, Gary, WV, 24836 and the office phone number is (304)448-3544. The office is in a large building where an old company store was once located. There are 4 operatories, 1 lab, a sterilization area, Panorex area and developing room, 1 large doctor's office and a reception area. All equipment is modern and up-to-date and all operatories are set up for sit-down dentistry. There are 3 assistants and 1 receptionist. We work a 5 day week and are able to accommodate both right and left-handed students.

The county has a population of 30,000+. Churches are abundant, a Bantam market is located across from the clinic, and there is one high school. This is an excellent area for hunting, fishing, trail biking, and an outdoor pool is in close proximity as well as several athletic fields. A movie theater is located in Princeton/Bluefield and there are several nightclubs with music varying from rock & roll to country. The Gary County Club is open to the public and has a challenging nine holes.

To reach the office, take I-79 South until Exit 57(Route 19 South). Take Rt 19 South to Beckley. From 19 South, take I-77 South a few miles until Exit 42. Take this exit (Robert C. Byrd Dr./Mabscott Exit) and follow the sign Rt. 16 South, Sophia/Mullins. Once on Rt. 16 South, drive several miles until Rt. 54 South (this will be a stoplight). Turn right at the stop light onto Rt. 54 South and take this to Mullins. In Mullins, take 16 South again to Welch. Continue on Rt 16 through Welch to Rt. 103. Follow Rt. 103 to Gary (approximately 6 miles from Welch). The clinic is a very large grey building across from an Exxon Station. NOTE: Be careful - the roads are in good condition but torturous - it would be wise to keep a good road atlas handy! From Morgantown, the distance is 223 miles and should take approximately 4 hours 30 minutes driving time.
