Point Pleasant, WV

Hello, I am William E. Park. I graduated from West Virginia University in 1982. I have been affiliated with Pleasant Valley Hospital from 1990 to the present. I trained at Midwest Implant Institute and practice the latest techniques in implant procedures.

My office is address is 629 Main Street, PO Box 455, Point Pleasant, WV 25550 and my office phone number is (304) 675-6008. This is a small downtown two-story house converted into a dental office. It is a solo practice with 1 dental hygienist and 1 assistant, 1.part-time billing clerk and 1 receptionist There are 3 operatories and 1 waiting area. A lab is in the office for day-to-day work. Two outside labs are used. There is an upstairs office for computer billing. We practice sit-down dentistry, and use equipment such as a cavitron, pulse oximetry, nitrous oxide equipment, multiple types of surgical equipment for implant placement. There is an Intrex x-ray both bisecting and parallel long cone utilized.. ADEC chairs and equipment are approximately 10 years of age.

Mason County has approximately 18,000 citizens and the town of Point Pleasant approximately 4,500. We serve the surrounding counties of Meigs, and Gallia, Ohio. Tri-county area has adequate shopping, travel to Huntington or Charleston to malls very common. Multiple Christian denomination churches. Hunting, fishing, golf, river activities, local athletic programs. There are some private schools and Marshall University community college are close by. Six dentists are currently practicing in Mason County. All are general practice.

My personal philosophy of practice is first and foremost, I treat the patient as a person. The patient is not a number on a dental assembly line. In a small community, the dentist sees the patient outside the office frequently. It is vitally important in a small area to treat patients properly and with confidence. Generally, I enjoy interacting with most of my patients. My goal is to continue to enjoy work everyday. I treat my patients and staff as I would like to be treated.

To reach my office, take I79 S to Clarksburg, Rt 50 to Parkersburg, I-77 to Ravenswood exit. At Ravenswood go south on Rt 2 to Point Pleasant. When arriving in Pt. Pleasant, go straight through the red light to main Street. Make right onto Main Street. You will see the train bridge over Main Street. Office is on left beside the bridge.

From Morgantown the distance is 169 to Point Pleasant and should take2 hrs and 45 minutes driving time.
