Karen Soccorsi is the Department Manager. She has the responsibility of the day-to-day function of the office. She is mostly occupied with insurance claims, procedure coding, and helping patients get coverage from their insurance companies. She also greets and schedules patients and handles problems over the phone. If there is a problem with the department she can get it solved.

Cindy Bakos is the Clinic Nurse. She is responsible for all nursing functions for the department. She is in charge of sterile technique, Infection control, Instrument management and sterilization, OSHA rules and regulations, and assessment of functional status of instruments and supplies. She supervises monitoring of patients during surgery and recovery. She assures safe transport of patients into and out of the surgical areas. She is available to assist and circulate during the surgical procedures.

Tapha Liston is a dental assistant. She seats patients in the surgery area and prepares them for surgery. She assists during the procedure and gives patient instructions before and after surgery. She obtains x-rays when needed and releases patients after their procedures. She keeps busy preparing instruments for the department.

Leona Wolfe is a dental assistant frequently assigned to the department. She seats patients in the surgical areas and prepares them for surgery. She gives patient instructions before and after procedures and assists during the operations. She transports patients out of the surgical areas and obtains x-rays when needed. She is currently working as the OMS Department secretary.
