| The Division of Prosthodontics teaches and supports the entire scope of Prosthodontics as defined by the American Dental Association.
Prosthodontics is the branch of dentistry pertaining to the restoration and maintenance of oral function, comfort, appearance and health of the patient by the restoration of natural teeth and/or the replacement of missing teeth and contiguous oral and maxillofacial tissues with artificial substitutes. Clinical Services Extramural and intramural consultants including all predoctoral and postdoctoral departments and divisions. Prosthodontic care is provided by student dentists, dentists in a 3-year graduate prosthodontics specialty program and by dental faculty in the faculty practice clinic. The extent of treatment and complexity of care will vary according to the training and experience of the person providing the care. Complex care is referred to the graduate prosthodontic clinic or to one of the three prosthodontists on faculty. Services Include: Fixed Prosthodontics
