Daniel Brody, DMD

Andrea N. Kelly, DDS

Hello, I am Daniel Brody. I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine in May 1984. I have been with the Fort Gay Family Health Center since 1984.  Dr. Andrea N Kelly is also on the staff at Fort Gay Family Health Center.  She graduated from WVU School of Dentistry in 2001.

My office address is 3329 Bridge Street, Fort Gay, WV 25514 and the office phone number is (304) 648-5544. Ft. Gay Primary Health Care is a community health center located on the main thoroughfare in the town of Ft. Gay. The center provides dental services, medical services, mental health services, nutritional services and numerous other health and education services (e.g. WIC, Right From the Start). There are 4 operatories equipped with ADEC units for sit-down dentistry, a dental lab, a sterilization area, a panorex area, a darkroom, 1 dental/education/counseling room, 2 private offices, a conference room and a lounge. We have 3 dental assistants and we work a 5 day week. I am able to accommodate both right and left-handed students.

Ft. Gay is a rural community of approximately 1,000 people and is situated on the Big Sandy River which borders Kentucky. There are many small unincorporated towns surrounding Ft. Gay that depend on Ft. Gay for municipal services, shopping services and health services. There are numerous churches, a middle school and an elementary school. Ft. Gay has a supermarket, a gasoline/convenience type store, 2 service stations, a bank, library, community center, and a pizza/sub shop. All of these are within walking distance of the community health center. Ft. Gay is approximately one hour drive from Huntington. Huntington offers something for everyone - from sporting events to cultural events to restaurants and shopping.

My personal practice philosophy is that our ultimate goal is to provide comprehensive dental care in an environment that is effective, efficient, cost-conscious and friendly to the patient. We are also concerned with the total health of the patient and have a strong team oriented approach to dental care that incorporates the resources of the other health disciplines in our community health center to educate community members and patients in dental disease prevention, smoking and smokeless tobacco cessation and other health topics.

To reach the Fort Gay Family Health Center, take I-79 South to I-64 West. Take Exit 1 (Kenova-Ceredo exit) off of I-64 West and follow the signs to 52 South (a left turn off of Exit 1). Take 52 South to 37 West. 37 West is the main thoroughfare through Ft. Gay and Ft. Gay Primary Health Center is located on this road approximately 2 miles from the 52 South/37 West intersection. From Morgantown, the distance is 237 miles and should take 4 hours driving time.
