West Virginia University Department of Emergency Medicine is dedicated to quality education in our Emergency Medicine Residency program, as well as Post Graduate training for Physician Assistants.

We offer a 3 year MD residency in Emergency Medicine and have been fully accredited by the RRC since the beginning of the program in 1993.

We also train Physician Assistants in Emergency Medicine, in conjunction with Alderson Broaddus College's Post Graduate Physician Assistant program.
