|Adult Psychiatry - Multiple Positions
West Virginia University School of Medicine Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry is recruiting two open rank BC/BE adult psychiatrists to assume a full-time faculty position at Chestnut Ridge Center in Morgantown, WV.
Responsibilities for the first non-tenure, clinical emphasis track position include outpatient care of adults with a wide range of psychiatric diagnoses, teaching and supervision of medical students and psychiatry residents and scholarship with opportunities for research. We encourage all qualified, well-trained applicants to apply including those with Forensic Psychiatry fellowship training.
Responsibilities for the second non-tenure, clinical emphasis track position include outpatient care of adults with a focus on psychotherapy, teaching and supervision of psychiatry residents and fellows specifically targeting psychotherapy curriculum, and scholarship with opportunities for research.
Our Department provides a broad range of services including inpatient, outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, assertive community treatment, telepsychiatry and ECT. We also have a busy consult liaison service. In addition to our faculty of psychiatrists, neuropsychologists, psychologists and social workers, we also employ clinical therapists and case managers. We provide training for a variety of disciplines including psychology, neuropsychology, nursing, social work, counseling and medical students. We have 21 general psychiatry residents and have fellowships in child and adolescent psychiatry, forensic psychiatry, and psychosomatic medicine.
