Since the implementation of the WVU Health Sciences Center Strategic Research Plan, the School of Medicine has seen significant growth in the number of National Institutes of Health (NIH) grants awarded. In addition, the graphs below illustrate the total increase in research funding to the WVU School of Medicine over the past seven years.
