WVU Purchases Genetic Research Equipment

The latest weapon in WVU’s research arsenal can be used to analyze up to 500,000 genetic variations at one time or analyze the expression levels of all the genes in a cell.

Curran, M.D., MPH, whose critical research early in the AIDS epidemic helped doctors develop effective treatments for HIV and AIDS, will speak at West Virginia University at noon, Tuesday, April 4. His presentation, "A Historical Overview of AIDS in the United States," will be held in the HSC Auditorium of the Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center. A reception will follow in the Pylons lobby.
