Dr. McCay’s primary clinical activities include the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents with a wide variety of presenting problems with a special interest in internalizing disorders. She also works with adolescents engaging in self-injurious behaviors. Dr. McCay practices from a cognitive-behavioral theoretical orientation. Dr. McCay’s research interests are focused on social relationships in children and adolescents, particularly with respect to their impact on depressive and anxious symptomatology.
