Dr. Sperry is the Director of Behavioral Science Education for the WVU Department of Family Medicine, where she trains medical residents in psychological components of health care. Her research interest focuses on the prevention of pain-related disability by examining psychosocial factors in chronic pain. Clinically, her interests lie in cognitive-behavioral assessment and treatment of anxiety and mood disorders as well as psychological factors complicating chronic health problems.
