- CHILD/ADOLESCENT MINOR ROTATION

Supervisor:
Angela C. Stanley, PsyD

Child/Adolescent Minor Rotation

A combined inpatient and outpatient experience, 4-months in duration, is available to Adult Track and Neuropsychology Track interns.

  • Inpatient
Minor interns will provide one therapy group weekly on the Acute Care Adolescent Unit under the supervision of Dr. Stanley.
  • Child and Adolescent Outpatient Services:
Interns will participate in intake evaluations and ongoing individual therapy experiences during the four-month rotation. Each intern will participate in at least one regularly scheduled intake evaluation each week. Interns will also carry ongoing individual therapy caseload of 3 to 5 patients under the supervision of Dr. Stanley.
  • Supervision
The supervision and training provided for minor interns during their child rotation relies heavily on faculty modeling and co-assessment/therapy. The Child Minor intern will meet with Dr. Stanley on a weekly basis for an hour of individual supervision.
  • Case Conference
Interns participate in a multidisciplinary case conference, which occurs following the child intake clinic on Mondays.
