Chestnut Ridge Outpatient Services
The Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry welcomes you to Chestnut Outpatient Services. We are on the first floor of Chestnut Ridge Hospital, located on the Health Sciences campus of West Virginia University. Several of our clinics take place at the Physician Office Center in the Neurology or Medical Specialities Clinics.
Our Staff
Our multidisciplinary team includes board certified faculty physicians from the WVU School of Medicine, resident physicians completing advanced training in psychiatry, psychologists, and social workers who are speciality trained in mental health.
Appointments
Appointments are scheduled between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Emergency Care
After clinic hours or on weekends, please call the 24-hour WVU HEALTHLINE, (800) 982-8242 and a counselor will be able to assist you. They may advise you to go to the Ruby Memorial Emergency Department to be seen by the psychiatrist on call.
Fees
The cost of your visit will depend upon the nature of the services provided. You will receive a bill for physician or therapist services from University Health Associates, the faculty practice plan at West Virginia University. Technical services such as laboratory tests and psychological testing will be an additional charge.

- Addiction Intensive Outpatient Program: Groups meet three times a week with our multidisciplinary team for six to nine hours for a period of six weeks
