Education

An important mission for the Department of Biochemistry is teaching. The faculty teach both at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and provide instruction in three professional schools in the Health Sciences Center.

Undergraduate:

The department offers several courses in biochemistry at the undergraduate level.

Graduate:

The faculty is dedicated to teaching graduate students and plays an important role in teaching courses in the first year curriculum and specialized courses for more advanced students. Departmental faculty members currently serve as mentors for graduate programs in the School of Medicine.

Professional:

The faculty provides education in the discipline of biochemistry to professional students enrolled in the Schools of Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy.
