Dear Prospective Student,
Welcome to the Department of Biochemistry. Graduate training is a
central activity of our faculty. Members of the faculty in the
Department of Biochemistry provide training opportunities for graduate
students through the following programs. In addition, we are the
administrative home for the Graduate Program in Biochemistry and
Molecular Biology. Please click on each link to find out more
information about that program.

The graduate programs in the School of Medicine share a common
admission’s process and first year curriculum. This year of study
provides a strong background in basic cellular function and whole
organism dynamics. Entry into a graduate program occurs at the end of
the first year by choosing to work in a laboratory affiliated with that
graduate program.
