This program is open ONLY to applicants holding a professional teaching certificate/licensure. A copy of your teaching certificate is required for admission.

36 credit hours of coursework required
Transfer 9 credit hours pre-approved upon admission
Location:
Primarily web-based with 3 intensive summer courses. Can be completed in 2 calendar years on a part-time basis.
Program Description:
The mission of the School Health Masters degree is to provide teachers with the knowledge and skills necessary to instill in school-age students the information needed to make healthy decisions regarding well-being. We believe that experiential instruction, coupled with critical thinking skills, enables students to be informed health consumers. We seek to provide optimal experience for our students to be models and mentors for their own students.
